Job Title: HOOF Coordinator
Reports to: Customer Service Team Leader
Department: Customer Service
Location: Gatwick


2. JOB PURPOSE
To be responsible for an essential service to patients, relatives and healthcare professionals. To process oxygen installations and changes of oxygen prescriptions and to interrogate data to ensure the business aligns with contractual requirements

4. PRIMARY DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  1. To respond in a timely manner to patient prescriptions including prescription confirmation/rejection and product availability
  2. To process prescription and liaise closely with prescribers and to respond to their needs
  3. To ensure accurate information is entered into the required system
  4. To work closely with internal stakeholders and keep them updated of any issues
  5. To provide stock requirements as needed
  6. To manage the prescribers line and deal with any queries in a timely manner
  7. To work closely with the clinical team as and when required
  8. To deal with all enquiries from prescribers in an empathetic and effective manner within company/contract agreed timescales
  9. To ensure that all enquiries are completed according to departmental procedures and within set quality standards
  10. To liaise closely with other departments by best means possible, giving accurate information at all times
  11. To work to organisational and departmental targets as specified
  12. To work with the Senior Customer Service Coordinator on process improvements and projects
  13. To provide support to other areas of the customer service department when required

6. DEVELOPMENT 

  1. It is expected that all HOOF Coordinators will be multi-skilled across all aspects of the contact centre prior to applying for this role
  2. The post holder will be provided with the appropriate training, coaching and support in each role to ensure they understand the task in hand


6. SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
The post holder will be required to travel to external meetings on occasion
