Meet the team - Susan

Susan, known as Sue

We're incredibly proud of our team at Dolby Vivisol and wanted to put some faces to the names of those people you may have been in touch with or who work 'behind the scenes' to ensure that delivery, service, technology and clinical expertise are always catered for. 

Today, we're sharing the chat we had with Sue.  

What do you do?
I’m a Customer Service Coordinator based at our office in Gatwick and I've been working for Dolby Vivisol since 2013.

What does your day involve?
I mainly spend the day answering telephone calls from our patients. Most of the calls are straightforward; ordering replacement cylinders or sometimes checking details of their prescription. 

Sometimes we receive calls as the equipment isn’t working. On these calls, we have to support the patients onto the backup oxygen and ask them to help us check the equipment remotely.

Recently we have been working from home instead of the office due to the pandemic. We all have dedicated equipment, including a phone that is connected to the PC, so we can continue to receive calls quickly and securely. This has been very different but we have continued to be available for patients with no change in how they contact us or the support that we provide. 

What’s the best thing about your job?
I love being able to help patients and like it when I receive a call and the patient recognises me from a previous call.

How do you unwind after a day’s work?
Watching wildlife programmes, particularly anything including monkeys.
