Homecare Technician

Join us as a Home Care Technician

Full-time position: 40 hours per week - 5 of 7 working day rotational shift pattern.

Due to the nature of the role, the position involves the post holder to be flexible as they will be on a rota for call outs after hours (including weekends/nights)

The role (in a nutshell)

To carryout deliveries, installations, removals, risk assessments & servicing of oxygen products for NHS patients, with care and consideration, keeping in mind the patients’ needs at all times. This role will require the successful candidate to be based in Glasgow with occasional travel to other sites.

Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibility

• Install, deliver, remove and service Oxygen Products for Dolby Vivisol on behalf of the NHS.
• Ensure that all associated consumables are delivered in accordance with the patients prescription.
• Work with local depot manager & field service Managers to achieve delivery of service.
• Co-operation with the planning department
• Ensure compliance with contractual KPI’s
• Ensuring that patients receive a quality service at all times
• Follow all safe working procedures & operating instructions
• Follow all statutory compliance & governance procedures
• Accurate data entry on to a mobile PDA device

Education, Qualifications and expertise required:

• Clean current valid driver’s licence
• Will require an Enhanced DBS
